Utenos trikotažas won Swedish Business Awards 2017
Algirdas Šabūnas, CEO of Utenos trikotažas, says that the key reason, which contributed to such an acknowledgment, is company’s decision to choose sustainability as one of its strategic directions and treat it as competitive differentiation on the market. As a result, company’s growth comes from attracting new customers and consumers, who consciously choose organic and socially responsible production over just lower price.
The Swedish Business Awards is one of the main business events in the country, which serves as a platform for spreading Swedish values. It also serves as a yearly meeting point for business, science and political community, to discuss achievements, practices, challenges and trends.
