We are proud of having European „EU flower“ and OE certificated production.
Eco label is provided for these products, which in comparison with other products in the same products group, seem to distinguish by minimal negative impact over environment and ensure effective exploitation of natural resources. Term “ecological” is strictly regulated. A product must be certificated in accordance to the particular environmental standards – this is a key specification to be awarded with label “eco”. This must be certificated by independed institutions.
Our vision towards ecology falls far beyond the current trends of green living. This is our continual philosophy. We are working consciously and being aware that our and yours children will be living surrounded by the environment remaining after us. This is why it so important to decrease the negative impact to the environment related to our production processes up to the minimum.
Our clients prefer ecological products and due to this we have implemented quality management system ISO9001 to ensure traceability of quality and production processes. We also own an environmental management certificate ISO14001. In the year 2005 institution “Ecolabelling Denmark” awarded AB „Utenos trikotažas“ for its knitwear and stretch materials with an European eco-label „EU-flower“ and in the year 2009 our production was certificated under OE100 (Organic Exchange 100) requirements.
